Evacuate multiple pigging launchers and receivers for a 3-week-long ILI project.

One small volume evacuation unit was mobilized between launch and receive sites throughout the project, recompressing gas from the barrel and nominal pipe assembly back into the main line. Starting pressures ranged from 580 to 680 psig and ending pressures were as low as 0 psig in about 20 minutes. Set up and break down time was under an hour on average.

Client was able to avoid venting the majority of gas trapped in the pigging facilities avoiding increased emissions while keeping the added time and cost to the project schedule to a minimum.
